HOW TO MAKE UGBA AND ABACHA
Ugba and Abacha also known as African salad is a combination of local Nigerian recipes. It can be a snack, an appetiser or a full meal. It can be made with several ingredients to match your taste. This is the basic local recipe. It is very tasty and delicious.
INGREDIENTS
- Ugba (shredded oil bean)
- Abacha ( dried shredded casava)
- Palmoil
- Utazizi leaf (bitterleaf)
- Akaun (potash)
- Stockfish
- Gardeneggs
- Grinded pepper
- Crayfish
- Maggi cubes
Mix the Akaun with water.
Before putting the ingredients on heat, first mix them all in a bowl or in the pot.
Make sure to wash the ugba very well to remove sand.
Mix : Palmoil, Akaun, ugbah, abacha, stockfish, gardenegg, maggi cubes, crayfish, utazizi leaf and pepper.
Put your mixed ingredients on low to medium heat and allow all the ingredients mix well.
Serve delicious and quick meal.
